Benefits in Vinyl Siding

  • Vinyl siding combines beauty, low maintenance, low-environmental impact, and performance into one package. If you look closely at your neighborhood, you'll notice that as the years pass, you see more and more homes with vinyl siding. Recent Census Bureaus indicate that nearly twice as many homeowners choose vinyl over other materials for siding.

Variety of Beautiful Choices

  • With different trim and accent options, along with more styles, finishes, and colors, we can help you express your individual style on your home's exterior. Whether you are looking for that historic look, or perhaps something more modern, we have what you need!

Add Value

  • Vinyl siding doesn't just look great, it also provides a great value. The cost for installation is low, and the product is much more durable than other materials, saving you replacement costs over the life of your home. You won't have to worry about painting or maintaining your siding, which allows your vinyl to last for years to come.

Better for the Environment

  • Vinyl siding requires very little raw material in production, and is often recycled into new vinyl products, which means nearly no waste. Without the need for paint or stain, less toxins are used in production and installation.

 Gutter Installation

All of our aluminum gutter systems are installed by specialists who come to your home and custom cut and shape your gutters. All of our gutter stretches are seamless which helps to eliminate the extra maintenance of annual sealing and provides a clean look for the exterior of your home.

Gutters should be up near the top of the home improvement list of maintenance and replacement. If your gutters are old, broken, sagging, clogged, or missing, water will pour off the roof and saturate the ground below. This water can eventually make its way into your basement or foundation creating a breeding ground for mold and mildew. Without properly installed and working gutters, the exterior walls of your home may also become stressed, cracked and damaged.

Gutter Guard Installation

There are a variety of accessories on the market today, such as a gutter guard that helps to keep debris and other matter from clogging the gutters. If you do not wish to be up on the ladder every few weeks checking and cleaning the gutters, these handy products can help cut down on that maintenance time significantly.

Regardless of which gutter guard you choose for your gutters, a properly installed gutter system should protect the exterior of your home and keep your basement dry. Even with a good gutter guard system, minimal maintenance is still required to maximize the life of the gutter system.

Gutter guards can take this general maintenance from every couple weeks to every couple of months. Ask your associate about the correct type of gutter guard system to protect your home.

Soffit and Fascia Installation

Proper soffit and fascia installation is vital to the overall health of your home.

What is Fascia?

First, the wood fascia board is installed, which protects the underside of the roof. Following this, aluminum fascia is then installed over the board. This prevents rotting and provides a clean, crisp look.

Fascia board provides a point of attachment for the gutters of the house, along with the drain pipes. Fascia board helps with facilitating drainage from the roof and ensuring that water does not pool around the house during the rainy season. This in turn, can cause damage to the interior and foundation of your home. If fascia board appears to be rotting away or becomes detached, it should be replaced.

Our expert installers will ensure that the new fascia is properly installed, preventing damage from wind and water to the interior of your home. It is also a very important part of home maintenance to ensure that the soffit on your home is in good condition and properly installed.

What is Soffit?

Generally speaking, soffit is the underside of any element of a building. The most common soffit is found in the area under the eaves on the exterior of the house. The soffit extends from the side of the house to the edge of the eave and closes the space beneath the eave.

Soffit is very vulnerable to weather damage. Wet material rots, and soffit can be repeatedly soaked by water from torn shingles, damaged or rusted flashing, ice dams, or poorly functioning gutters. Squirrels and birds can also damage soffit, since they like to nest in the space behind the soffit if they can find a point of entry. Bees, hornets, and wasps do not usually damage soffit, but when they are able to build a nest behind soffit, they present a nuisance for homeowners.

With our high quality solid and vented vinyl soffit you can be sure that your home is protected from the elements. Soffit and fascia replacement are relatively inexpensive home improvement repairs, and repairing damaged soffit and fascia can prevent much bigger problems down the road. We carry soffit and fascia for all types of homes in several different styles to fit any budget or preference.

Frequently Asked Questions

I don't see any roof damage from the ground. Should I be concerned after last night's hail storm?

  • If hail is accompanied by high winds, or lasts more than a few minutes, even small-sized hail can damage your roof or cause shingles to have loss of their protective granules. Sometimes these damages do not show up quickly, or can be easily overlooked. Loss of granule layers on your shingles can greatly shorten the life of your roof. You should have it inspected by an experienced roofing professional.

I'll have the insurance adjuster look at my roof. Why do I need a roofing company to look at it too?

  • We will meet with the insurance adjuster to ensure nothing was overlooked during the inspection. Our estimators are professionally trained to look for storm damage and have the ability to help negotiate the proper claim settlement. We know what it takes to complete the roofing project and will be sure the settlement includes everything needed to restore your home to pre-storm condition.

How much does a roof inspection cost?

  • For storm and insurance claims we are happy to inspect your roof for free, with hopes of completing the work. Our estimators will be out to your address within one to two business days (weather permitting) of initial contact to do a thorough inspection of your roof. You will then be given an evaluation and inspection to save you from making an unnecessary claim against your policy.  This will vary by insurance company, but typically you can file a claim up to 12 to 24 months after the damage occurs. Contact your insurance agent for more information about this time period.

Do I have to go with the lowest bidder for my roofing repair?

  • No, your decision should be based on hiring the contractor that you feel most comfortable with and whom you feel will perform the best work. The insurance company will allow up to a certain amount, but they will only pay up to the amount on the invoice. For instance, your insurance allowance may be $5,000. You received bids from two different roofing contractors, one is for $4,000 and one is for $4,600. The insurance company will only pay the amount that is invoiced by the contractor you choose. Be sure you are comparing apples to apples when reviewing the estimates. There is probably a good reason if there is a large cost difference (quality of materials, experienced roofing crew, workmanship warranty, etc.).

What if your estimate is more than the insurance adjuster's estimate?

  • If our estimate exceeds what the insurance adjuster quoted, it is typically because the adjuster overlooked something in their inspection. Our estimators are highly trained and experienced, and in almost all cases we can work out the difference with the insurance company by submitting documentation of the additional damage we have assessed.

I hate dealing with the Insurance Company, is there a way around it?

  • Yes, once you sign a contract with us, you will not have to deal with the insurance company. We, as insurance specialists, will handle any necessary contact with the insurance company from that point. All you have to do is sit back and relax and know that your home or property is being restored to its original state and that everything is being handled with the insurance company.
